Role Overview
The Manager of Marketing at LUMS plays a crucial role in enhancing the university’s local and international presence through effective marketing strategies. This position involves developing and executing marketing campaigns, streamlining processes, and creating templates for future marketing plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Marketing Strategy
- Collaborate on the finalization and implementation of marketing plans that align with the university’s overall strategy, ensuring all schools and stakeholders are on the same page.
- Create and execute marketing activities and campaigns aimed at building the university’s brand image both locally and globally.
- Work closely with the Communications team to ensure all messaging is consistent with the university’s branding goals.
- Planning and Executing Marketing Activities
- Organize visits to schools and colleges across Pakistan, as well as manage Open Days and other important events.
- Facilitate on-campus visits from universities, schools, and boards, ensuring a smooth experience.
- Oversee media coverage for LUMS events and manage the creation of promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and reports, coordinating design and content between departments and agencies.
- Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including faculty and program directors, and coordinate with print and electronic media agencies.
- Ensure alignment with guidelines from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and education boards, and work with embassies and foreign offices.
- Focus on corporate outreach for executive programs to expand partnerships and opportunities.
- Database Management
- Oversee the maintenance and updating of essential databases for local and international marketing efforts, including information on universities, schools, agencies, and media contacts.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Understanding of marketing concepts, advertising strategies, and campaign execution.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in writing.
- Excellent networking and public relations abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective problem-solving and time-management skills.

Qualifications and Experience
- A Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
